The Council of New York Special Education Administrators (CNYSEA) has a rich history based on the merger of two statewide organizations, the Association of Special Education Administrators (ASEA) and Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE). CNYSEA is a subchapter of the International Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). CNYSEA is a statewide group with over 350 members who provide leadership in public and private schools across the state committed to being a membership organization that represents the needs and interests of Special Education Administrators in the provision of appropriate, cost effective and efficient services to students with disabilities.
